Assembly process
The success of Volvo V60 PHEV assembly unite with other models rated as a great achievement. Because the PHEV require more complicated assembly process, including the installation of two main components, namely transmission and lithium-ion battery and a weight of 140 kg were placed in the trunk.

The battery is capable of storing energy 400V/11, 2 kWh, can be used to run the car as far as 50 miles, without having to be assisted by a diesel engine (pure electric).

For PHEV, especially in the last part, should be re-assembly. For that, the tools have to be modified to assemble. The reason for the PHEV is still there 300 other components to be put together again.

Electric motor assembly with axles, axle installation done in (final drive), as is done in the car with 4x4 motion. The other part is the cooling system and high-voltage cables, assembled at the Pallet, where assemble the transmission and chassis.

Next to the battery hybrid, Volvo has its own technique and it only takes 60 seconds.

Volvo V60 PHEV, the main driving source is a 50-cylinder diesel engines (D5) that produces 215 PS and 440 Nm of torque.
